Amazing staff and wonderful stay
I booked 2 rooms but checked out 1 room 1 day earlier. I left my valuables (credit cards, cash, etc) in the safe of the room that I checked out early. Front desk left a memo to the other room informing me that I left my valuables. When I returned from a day’s sightseeing, I approached the front desk to retrieve my belongings. I am so happy that everything was intact. I am thankful for the attentiveness and honesty of the housekeeping, front desk and the staff of Grand Centara Hotel. Hotel brand which I trust.
A brand which I trust and have used in different cities. My requests have always been taken care of, thanks to the staff for never letting me down and fulfilling my asks and needs. This Osaka branch of the hotel Brand has replicated the customer service and standards I had come accustomed to whilst traveling in Thailand. The rooms as expected are top quality and hotel overall good condition. The air ventilation was silent and provided consistent temp ( I normally find hotel HVAC systems too be too noisy!) One slight improvement to the rooms would be the electrical outlets, if the wall sockets could accommodate the international variants that would be a useful feature. I had UK 3 pin and EURO 2 pin shaving / toothbrush devices would I was unable to charge. Great Hotel in Osaka!
Our time in Osaka was unforgettable and excellent, and this was in no small part due to our stay at the Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. The property is beautiful, and had any amenity you could want on your trip. Our room had floor to ceiling windows, giving us an amazing view of the city and the mountains in the distance. The bed was very comfortable, the shower and facilities high-end, which made for the perfect place to relax at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The hotel has many restaurants and bars to visit as well. We went to Smoke & Spin and WhiskeyNova, and highly recommend them both. The happy hour pricing at Smoke & Spin is incredible and the drinks are well made and delicious. WhiskeyNova was one of the best dinners we had while in Osaka, and the special menu and pricing for guests of the hotel is unbeatable. Clean hotel!
We stayed at this hotel for four nights in February, to our surprises, the hotel turned out very nicely, very comfortable bed and clean room. The size of the room was very good. Breakfast is acceptable, the food could be a bit better. The concierges were very helpful with transportation needs. It is a very short walk to a shopping center which consists of a lower level market, we went there daily to buy fresh fruits. the nearby area has many restaurants which were about a five minutes walk from hotel. Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staffs. Spacious bathroom. The hotel is very new and clean. Provided pajamas in the room is super comfortable. Love the bedroom blinds, made the room pitch black which is good for my sleep. Was a shame that didn't have time to enjoy other facilities and the given 10,000 JPY credit to be used at the hotel.
