Koh Chang, or Elephant Island, is Thailand's second largest island and forms part of a national marine park. Koh Chang is easily accessible year-round by ferry from Laem Ngop Pier in Trat. Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort is located about 25 minutes from the pier via the island's ring road.

Hidden Paradise

Food average, stay pleasant, room dated
Restaurant food is was overpriced and pretty average. Had a Tom kah and it was watery and a bit tasteless. Good sized room however balcony wasn’t very private, and bathroom and wider room was dated. Very solid bed, not soft at all. Very clean resort and good pools, happy hour was good value, otherwise overpriced cocktails. Very relaxing. A Great Getaway
After one night at KC resort with construction noise we found this gem. It is better than KC in all regards. The bed is of a medium softness, and they give you two different grades of softness pillows. The shower was big enough for six people. This is a very relaxing place. The restaurant could be better quality food. If you don't have a vehicle it can be a little of a walk to the main rood. This did not affect us. And although the beach was beautiful you have to walk a long way out to get waist deep. This would be fantastic for people with small children. But all said and done the place was great. We travelled with our 2 kids. The hotel is beautiful, the service is great , the sports team is amazing and offer yoga on the beach and Thai boxing class every day that we enjoyed a lot! Can highly recommend staying at Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and tidy. The pools were outstanding with a stunning evening sunset that couldn't be missed. Love the walking distance to the local shops and elephants. As well as the other activities the hotel had to offer. Chill out on the island
Great hotel in the island. Warm Welcome and professional staff. There are variety of activity - outdoor and indoor activity. Variety breakfast and dinner in lovely view (near the beach).
