Isolated resort
Grand resort hotel is isolated so require speed boat transfer for any outside city visit or we have to walk in jungle up and down of 8 to 10 floors of wooden scary staircase and we don’t want to go outside then use hotel food and amenities It’s in jungle so monkey snake big lizard will be waiting for you Rest all things are good as Room and it’s servicesRead moreDate of stay : May 2024 -

Amazing Stay in Krabi!
We recently stayed at the Centara Grand Hotel in Krabi, and it was fantastic! This was our second time staying here. From the moment we arrived, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The location is absolutely stunning with gorgeous views of the ocean and surrounding nature. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves watching the sunrise on our balcony. The pool area was great with lots of loungers and a cool poolside bar. The private beach was a highlight. It was peaceful and perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and watching the beautiful sunsets. Overall, our stay at Centara Grand was unforgettable. A Grand stay
Centara Grand Krabi is an excellent choice of stay in the area. One thing to note is its location, it is not accessible except by boat and a trail over the headland. . Boat services are great and on time, the monkey trail is steep at each end so unless you like exercise you'll find it a chore. Some rooms at the resort require a bit of a hike or several stair cases to access - there is a complimentary buggy pick up, but worth noting that it's not a flat area if you're not very agile. Unlike other resorts in the area, it is truly a private beach given the location and access. It is one of the nicest beaches we visited in the area, much better than the beach along Ao Nang. We stayed for 7 nights and mixed our time up with visits into Ao Nang and some Island trips to Phi Phi etc, We shopped around and researched several boat trips but the service offered by the hotel was a great price, a great size (35pax) and very convenient with pick up and drop off direct from the hotel pier. Food offerings at the resort are very good and the price, while dearer than visiting town, were pretty reasonable compared to some places we've stayed. Rooms are clean and have everything you need, beds are huge, and very comfortable. Our only hit to 'perfect' is the resort is showing some signs of wear from age and the weather, plenty wood rot around railings, and in need of some maintenance in areas. Krabi Vacation

Amazing stay with beautiful Scenic views of the island and the Ocean.
The resort was amazing. Enjoyed a lot. Stayed for 8 nights. The location a bit secluded and the only way to reach is either by boat or Monkey tRail. The hotel is located in a beautiful place, in a quiet environment. You can walk to the city - takes 15 minutes. From our experience it is the better than use the suttle boat. Best place to stay in Ao Nang BUT....
We were in a garden room, and although lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed the overall maintenance of the room and hotel needs work. Lots of comments about the Monkey Bridge and personally I didnt think it was safe and only used it once, would definitely not use it at night, too dangerous. I do think the hotel should maintain it properly as the speedboat into town is limited in time and space and in someways it spolied our holiday as we were tied to a time to leave and get back (felt like I had a cerfew on me to be home on time LOL). Beautiful Resort near Ao Nang
Beautiful Resort - getting old - all of them were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good. You could also stay there over breakfast time. The transfer worked excellently and the boat ride from the pier to the resort was an experience every time. The maintenance backlog in the facility and the rooms should be reduced.
