  Perfect place for a holiday in Paradise

  We stayed at Centara Ras Fushi for 4 nights and had a memorable We are frequent travelers and have visited nearly 50 countries and equal no of resorts . Ms. Liane , Mrs. Nadia , Mr. Mama & Mr. Harish are probably the best staff we have met anywhere. Ms. Liane was excellent at check in, she explained everything that we needed to know to help our stay be comfortable. One of the best check in staff we have come across possibly during all our travel. Mr. Mama at the breakfast live counter was always smiling and cajoling us to try some of the live station preparations he was responsible for. Excellent attitude. Mr. Harish at the Viu bar was very courteous and patient and he played some really great music during the DJ night at the bar next to the reception. Mrs. Nadia at Sun Bua Thai restaurant served us for dinner 3 nights in a row, she was ever smiling , excellent communication skills , very accommodative to our requests and made us feel at home.

  Serene holiday

  Excellent location, multiple restaurants and bars ( though drinks could be improved for that price , I was getting different results whenever i ordered a margarita and this shouldn’t be the case ) oceans restaurant ( avoid ordering a cocktail , they can’t make cocktails ) nabbu from oceans restaurant extremely rude and was forced to apologise of which he still didn’t want to do .reception staff and overall staff nice and friendly . Other than that it’s was okay , not the best but the over water villa was amazing for me hence I visited.

  Not the Maldives as it should be

  Arrival by speedboat took us through what can only be described as a shipping channel of large industrial boats. Male is being extended right in front of the island, so there is no uninterrupted view of the skyline or sunsets. All you see is industrial diggers and bright lights where they work through the night. The staff are a credit with the exception of a few. The food is very good and plentiful although we did have an issue with being told we couldn’t have the al a carte menu on our gold package. This resulted in a half hour hold up to our meal whilst calls were made, me sending the proof sent by our travel agent that the resort has confirmed everything was covered and the management finally giving us what we had paid for. This was a bad experience for us On one last note I’ve no doubt Francesco Pompilio will reply to this review as he always does. We saw him several times during our stay and even sat next to him at lunch, not once have we seen (and we asked other guests and they all confirmed the same) him engage with the guests, ask how their stay is and if everything is to their liking. If this small act was performed it would go a long way. His management staff (in white clothing) clearly take a leaf out of his book, because they all ignore you too. I even said good morning with direct eye contact with one one morning and had nothing in return We are in hospitality and are engaging and friendly having made many friends on holiday. The reason I write this is sometimes you read a review and think it’s “just them people”. Well we’re not as Nadia and a few others we meet on the staff would confirm. Overall we, as a couple had a good holiday, would be recommend or come back. Definitely not.

  Great Vacation in the Maldives

  We stayed at a lovely over the water villa for a relaxing and wonderful five day vacation. The facilities were outstanding, the food great, and ALL the staff excellent. Very clean and beautiful - well worth the cost and travel. Our experience from the time we took the resort's boat from the airport and back was flawless and well coordinated.

  Great Honeymoon Destination

  We recently stayed at a resort that was different from others we've visited. Although we believed our package was all-inclusive, it excluded minor things like drinks and room service. The beach was amazing, and the staff worked hard to keep it clean every day. The ocean villas allowed us to walk right off our back deck and witness incredible snorkeling. However, rentals were insanely expensive, likely because we were on an island with no lower-priced alternatives. Given the high cost per night, we expected a better experience. It wasn't better for the price, likely due to the high costs of stocking and servicing the island. What did blow us away was the water, the shark snorkeling excursion, and the food, especially the Pad Thai. The location is world-class, and the rooms were great for being built over the ocean. This resort had a more classy vibe; unlike others, we didn't see clubs or DJ nights, possibly due to the weather. My wife and I went on our honeymoon and do not regret coming here because we had a fantastic time. We snorkeled every day, played volleyball and badminton with Masud and Anish, who were an amazing part of the staff and something we looked forward to daily. It's difficult for me to recommend this resort because there are many other options closer that might address these issues. However, my wife and I walked away with fantastic memories, and each day was worth the long trip from the U.S. If you like good beach quality, lots of wildlife, snorkeling, exploring, excellent food, and superb service, I can recommend this place. Be aware that their "all-inclusive" packages only include basic food and alcohol, not room service, and they encourage reusing towels to cut down on carbon emissions. They did provide free cake and champagne to our room for my birthday, which was a nice touch. Also, the shark snorkeling expedition was fantastic. Overall, this is not an immediate buy, which is why it's not a 5-star review. I recommend shopping around and understanding what "all-inclusive" means at each resort, as it differs in the Maldives compared to the Caribbean. It is a solid choice to honeymoon here.

  Good Resort But Not Recommended for Vegans

  Good resort but they can do better with food options for vegans. I saw gluten- free options but, allergens do not revolve around gluten only. Also, all-inclusive resort idea is good but, I should be allowed to eat whenever I want.

  Absolutely wonderful Resort

  We had our best time in Centara and their hospitality was great and the food from ocean's restaurant was awesome. Chef Mr. Mama was so cheering while we arrive near breakfast counter and their way of treating guests was too good. It was a great stay and experience with Centara and would like visit one more time soon.

  Fantastic resort with a welcoming team

  The resort is beautiful, convenient for Male and has a range of great facilities (spa, gym, and touristy stuff if you want). We just wanted a week's downtime and this was a fantastic place to do this. We are foodies and though Al Kaimah, Suan Bua and La Brezza were terrific. Would love to have stayed longer.

  Magical Maldives, with a hint of terrifying .

  A fantastic 5 days spent in the Maldives with my wife. The resort was the perfect size so we didn’t have far to reach beach, pools and every restaurant. Transfer was cool and fast. 25 minutes from the airport by speed boat and we were on the island. Check in simple and fast and we were on the beach with a cocktail within 15 minutes. The restaurants on the island are fantastic and the staff are very attentive. Nothing is a problem. Speak to the dive team and take a boat ride and snorkel trip with them. You’ll be amazed and terrified all within a second. Then you’ll relax to watch the 3m sharks swimming around you, with odd gentle nudge from them.

  Excellent friendly service

  For a 4 star hotel you cannot fault the service, food and excellent staff that work there. Nothing was to much trouble. Food was excellent quality and chef Manap in oceans would cook anything for you! If you needed anything just call reception and it was brought to your room within minutes. Service was FIVE STAR . We normally stay 5 star and the service here is definitely better than some 5 star hotels. Only downside was there should be one level of all inclusive as you pay quite a lot for first level and mini bar only as soft drinks in apart from couple of beers. Would use a Centara hotel again. Also the island is quite close to Male which is great for a quick transition from airport.

  A dream come true.

  We got back last Thursday and had the most fantastic time. It was our first time in the Maldives and truly a dream come true The resort was a perfect size for us. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating, the garden villa was absolutely fantastic - 30 seconds to the sea. Standard all inclusive was plenty, and no need for us to upgrade to gold all inclusive. The vibe of the resort was fantastic. Although at full capacity, sun beds always available, and definitely not over crowded. Not full of romantic couples, and lots of returning guests which is always a good sign. For us, it was perfect mix of relaxation during the day, and plenty of fun to be had in the evening, if you wanted it. They also put on a different event each sundown to keep it varied (some of it was extra cost) The spa was AMAZING! The therapists were excellent, so good we had to go twice of course !! It is important to note that unfortunately there is a lot of development on the mainland, Male, and due to the close proximity of Centara Ras Fushi, some of this is visible from the island. However, this did not detract from our holiday and the staff are to be highly commended for their service and friendliness. Thank you for a truly memorable holiday.

  Great all-inclusive Maldives resort

  We had a great 5 day stay following a diving liveaboard safari tour. Very relaxing, great food and drink, friendly and helpful staff.....what's not to like? It was a 20 minute speedboat ride from the airport, making the transfer quick and easy.
